Speakers

Ph.D. in Materials Science (TU-Vienna ) and researcher in light alloys and composites materials (2002-2007). Involved in the development of porous materials at Eberespacio, Madrid (2008). Currently CTO of Materials & Processes at CATEC. Coordinator of the AM group at the Spanish Aerospace Platform. Lasagni holds the Fritz-Grasenick Prize (Austria, 2007); the Georg Sachs prize of the German Society of Materials (2018) and the Domingo Faustino Sarmiento Award” of the Argentinian senate (2019).

CTO Materials & Processes at CATEC

Wolfgang Waldhauser studied Materials Science and is research group leader and key researcher at JOANNEUM RESEARCH. He is author of more than 100 publication. His main interests are functional materials, laser and plasma processing and additive manufacturing.

Since his PhD in integrated polymer photonics in 2011, Dr. Robert Kirchner has been fascinated by advanced manufacturing of 3D structures. As co-founder and CEO of HETEROMERGE GmbH, he is working on the commercialization of micro-additive manufacturing of functional 3D structures.
