This event brings together key industry leaders to tackle technology and manufacturing challenges in microelectronics and photonics, fostering collaboration across both fields. Sergii Gudyriev (Photonics Principal Engineer) has been with X-FAB since 2021. He previously worked at System and Circuit Technology department of the University of Paderborn and at ISS Ukraine in IC IP protection group. He holds Master of Computer Science degree from National Technical University of Ukraine “KPI”.

Marcel Demmler (Sales Director) holds a degree in Physical Engineering. He began his professional career in research and development at a company specializing in ion beam and plasma process technologies. In 2011, he transitioned into a commercial role, taking responsibility for sales activities in the United States and Japan. Since joining scia Systems in 2013 as Sales Director, Marcel has successfully built a global sales structure, expanding the company’s international presence.

Amir Sharghi (Product Manager) holds a background in physics and has gained experience across multiple technology domains. His current work focuses on lithography and nanoimprint technologies that support advanced semiconductor system integration, with a strong interest in linking innovation and application.

Pavel Seroglazov (Senior Manager) received his Master's degree (Subdepartment of Quantum optics) at Novosibirsk State University (NSU) in 2012 and PDEng, Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology in 2014. In 2006, Pavel started his career as the Research Fellow at Institute of Semiconductor Physics, then he worked for Institute of Automation and Electrometry (2010-2012), ASML (2013-2015), Cymer (2015). In 2016, he joined ISTEQ B.V. as Engineer and in 2019 was promoted to R&D Project Leader. Since 2021, Pavel is Senior Technical at Besi.

Syed Zaid Ali (Business Development Manager) is an accomplished professional in business development and strategic sales with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Syed manages key European manufacturing accounts, including IMEC, CEA-LETI, Nexperia, and Seagate, where he oversees system sales and service contracts. Additionally, he has led the core team responsible for semiconductor business development in India since 2022. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University (expected Oct 2025). He also holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology (2016), specializing in Flight Performance and Propulsion.

Felix Reuter (Head of Business Sector Motion & Sensing) has been with attocube systems since 2018, advancing through several roles in product and strategy management. He has led initiatives in corporate strategy coordination, portfolio development, and market expansion within the Motion & Sensing sector. Felix holds a Master and Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering and Management from Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences and completed a semester abroad at Nanyang Technological University Singapore.

Uwe Wagner (CEO/CTO) studied Electrical Engineering/Communication Engineering at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, Hanover, and began his professional career at the Laser Zentrum Hanover (LZH). In the following years, he worked for LPKF Laser & Electronics, Jenoptik Automatisierungstechnik, and Jenoptik Laser, where his responsibilities included product management, international sales and the development of new business fields, as well as business development for the laser & material processing division at Jenoptik. Since joining 3D-Micromac AG in 2012, he has advanced from business development to Chief Sales Officer (2013) and has held the dual role of Chief Technology Officer and Chief Executive Officer since 2021.

Andrew Robertson (CTO) has a PhD in Laser Physics & Nonlinear Optics and a BSc in Laser Physics & Optoelectronics, both from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. Andrew has over 25 years of experience in successful commercial technology development & exploitation within photonics. In 2002, he was one of the founders of SIFAM Fibre Optics which was acquired by Gooch & Housego (G&H) in 2007 after 5 years of growth. Andrew held key senior engineering management roles within G&H and was a member of the Senior Management Team, becoming Senior Vice President and latterly focussing on Strategic Mergers and Acquisitions. Since 2020, Andrew has been with Bay Photonics and as CTO, has led the development of photonics based semiconductor packaging critical for enabling photonic driven Quantum Technology. Bay Photonics are currently supplying packaged SPADs and packaged quantum photonic integrated circuits (Q-PICs) for quantum computing, secure quantum communications, and quantum LIDAR imaging systems.

Daniel Sá Pereira (Sales Manager) joined Bühler Leybold Optics in 2021 working in the Semiconductor Market Segment as a technical Sales Manager. Daniel is a Microelectronics Engineer from the New University of Lisbon, Portugal (2015) and a PhD in Physics from the University of Durham, United Kingdom (2019). His research focused on the characterization of organic materials for application in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Since leaving academia, Daniel has joined Business Unit Optics at Bühler Leybold Optics Alzenau to focus on emerging applications that combine the worlds of Optics with Semiconductor in applications where optical filters are built directly on semiconductor chips.

Anton Alexeev (Business Development Manager) focuses on nanoimprint lithography, 3D and heterogeneous integration. Anton received his PhD in electrical engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology where he also graduated Professional Doctorate in Engineering program in physics. He has years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry. He worked on variety of technologies ranging from visible light communication via LED with Philips Lighting to optimization of the overlay performance for the leading-edge semiconductor manufacturing nodes with ASML.

Fulco Verheul (Business Manager) holds a master degree in applied physics from the Eindhoven University of Technology. His industrial career so far was in the consumer electronics, medtech, embedded systems, semiconductor manufacturing and recently metrology. He worked at global corporate companies and small and medium sized companies in Asia and Europe in a wide variety of positions in procurement, operations and supply chain, business development, project management and R&D. Since April 2025 Fulco is leading Mitutoyo’s Research Centre in Europe located in Best in the Brainport Region Eindhoven.

Pascal Langlois (Co-Founder & Chairman) is co-founder and Chairman of the Board at Scintil Photonics, established with Sylvie Menezo in 2018. He also serves as Chair at Zero Point Motion, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Teem Photonics, and Independent Director at Yole Développement. Previously, Pascal was President and CEO of Tronics Microsystems, where he led the company through IPO on Euronext and its acquisition by TDK Group. He has held senior executive roles at ST-Ericsson, NXP (founding executive team for global sales), Philips Semiconductors, and VLSI Technology, overseeing high-performance solutions for global OEMs. He holds a Bachelor in Technology from the University of Paris and attended Stanford University’s Strategy and Organization Executive Program. Pascal’s broad leadership in semiconductors, photonics, and sensors continues to support innovation and commercialization in high-growth global markets.

Johannes Zellner (Head of Roadmap Technology) drives the strategic development of technological roadmaps at ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology (SMT), ensuring innovation aligns with industry needs. Since joining ZEISS in 2002, he has progressed from optical design and simulation of lithography lenses to leadership roles across ZEISS, including Team Lead Optical Design (SMT), Director Design Engineering (SMT Laser Optics), Director System Design Illumination (SMT), and Director Systems Design (Consumer Products). In his current role (since 2024), he drives research, early technology development and strategic innovation programs and contributes to shaping the ZEISS SMT strategy. He holds a PhD in Physics from the Karlsruhe University (now KIT).

Sung-Hoon Im (Product Management Director - Photonics Test) leverages over 15 years of expertise in test and measurement to advance cutting-edge solutions for the photonics industry. With a career dedicated to bridging precision measurement with industrial applications, Dr. Im plays a pivotal role in shaping ficonTEC’s photonics test offerings — ensuring they meet the evolving demands of next-generation optical technologies. His strategic vision helps accelerate advancements in photonic device testing, from R&D to high-volume manufacturing.

Didit Yudistira (Principal Member of Technical Staff) is part of imec, where he has been advancing silicon photonics and process integration since 2018, currently serving as Principal Member of Technical Staff. Didit holds a PhD in Photonics from ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences / Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, an MSc in Engineering Mathematics from University of Twente, and a Bachelor in Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung.
