Laser microprocessing includes a set of precise and versatile manufacturing processes, such as cutting, drilling, ablation, dicing or surface structuring, used to create special features and structures at the micro-scale on a wide range of materials. Different industries have taken benefit of the possibility of modifying materials with minimal thermal damage and high dimensional control, such as automotive, semiconductor, electronics, medical or aerospace. Its accuracy, flexibility, and ability to process complex geometries, have making it a critical technology in different advanced manufacturing tasks.

Hosted by Amplitude Laser, this EPIC Technology Meeting will gather experts from across the laser value chain to discuss the latest advancements and developments in laser sources, beam delivery, software, integration and process control and monitoring. We will also discuss the needs of the system integrators and end-users to find who photonics technologies can help to overcome the remaining challenges.
