Pilot Lines & Photonics Innovation Hubs Breakfast
San Francisco, CA, USA

THE PILOT LINES BREAKFAST & PHOTONICS INNOVATION HUBS BREAKFAST is a networking event addressed to companies interested in participating in the collective effort of Europe to introduce new photonic products into the big markets such as telecommunications, medical, and security. This is a great opportunity to interact with the technology experts and decision-makers of companies working in photonics and learn how Pilot Lines in Photonics can help your company scale up the production of new photonic devices.

1 person per company allowed to attend only.

Description of the projects

MedPhab is the first Europe´s pilot line to accelerate the photonics medical device development helping the customers to fast-track their “idea to product” pathway. Developing medical devices needs matching different puzzle pieces of product development: from successful design, standardization, scale-up manufacturing mind-set as well as cutting edge technologies and expertise. MedPhab partners bring them all speaking the same language in photonics based medical device manufacturing.

PhotonHub Europe has established a unique European full-service one-stop-shop Photonics Innovation Hub in a manner that is deeply rooted within the wider ecosystem of innovation hubs and manufacturing right across the European continent for maximum coverage, leverage, impact and long-term sustainability.

PULSATE is an European Network designed to boost and empower the adoption of laser-based manufacturing among the European Industry. PULSATE offers networking, matchmaking, technical and financial support, fostering the opportunities and capacities of technology developers, top research centres, manufacturers and key support partners.

PHABULOuS is the European one-stop shop for the manufacturing of free-form micro-optics offering accelerated innovation & production cycles from prototypes to piloting and large-volume production.

JEPPIX: The JePPIX Pilot Line is on the lookout for PIC developers that are ready to bring a PIC-enabled product to market. By making use of their software, design, foundry and testing services, you can take your proof-of-concept circuit into production. And guess what? They’re here to help you every step of the way.

EUROPRACTICE is a European initiative that provides access to a wide range of advanced electronic & photonic design automation (EDA) tools, integrated circuits (IC) manufacturing technologies, and electronic and photonic packaging services for academic institutions, research organizations, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe. It aims to lower the barriers to entry faced by academia and industry by providing affordable access to the above-mentioned service as well as extensive customer support and training, there-by supporting research, development, and education in the fields of microelectronics, semiconductors & photonics technology.
