EPIC HR Meeting: The Impact of AI on Modern Hiring
Online Event
Free Event
This meeting is dedicated to EPIC members only

Artificial intelligence is reshaping the way companies attract, assess, and recruit talent. From automated candidate screening to skills matching and recruitment analytics, AI tools are becoming increasingly present in hiring processes. For photonics companies, however, recruitment remains highly specialized. Technical expertise, cultural fit, motivation, and long-term potential cannot be evaluated by algorithms alone. This creates an important question for HR teams: how can AI support recruitment without replacing the human judgment that is essential in selecting the right people?

This EPIC HR Workgroup Meeting will explore the impact of AI on modern hiring from both a broad labour market perspective and the practical experience of photonics companies.

The EPIC HR Workgroup Meetings bring together HR managers and CEOs from the photonics industry to exchange experiences on key HR topics. This event is restricted to EPIC members only and is recommended for professionals working in HR, recruitment, talent acquisition, and people development roles including managing directors.
