EU Projects, Pilot Lines & Innovation Hubs Breakfast
San Francisco, CA, USA

EU Projects & Innovation Hubs Breakfast is a networking event addressed to companies interested in participating in the collective effort of Europe to introduce new photonic products into the big markets such as telecommunications, medical, and security. This is a great opportunity to interact with the technology experts and decision-makers of companies working in photonics.

1 person per company allowed to attend only.

Description of the projects

PhotonHub Europe has established a unique European full-service one-stop-shop Photonics Innovation Hub in a manner that is deeply rooted within the wider ecosystem of innovation hubs and manufacturing right across the European continent for maximum coverage, leverage, impact and long-term sustainability.

RETINA is a groundbreaking initiative that marks a new era in photonic-based sensory systems. Our mission is to revolutionize the fields of healthcare, automotive, and agriculture through advanced photonics. RETINA aims to create a holistic framework for the development of next-generation hardware and software solutions, including innovative LIDAR solutions and CMOS imaging technologies. Our goal is to integrate these advancements with cutting-edge Machine Learning Perception, ensuring our solutions are agile, efficient, and tailored to the high-value, customized needs of our key industries. At RETINA, we’re not just developing technology; we’re shaping the future.

Lasers4MaaS combines cutting-edge Lasers-as-a-Service technology with dynamic beam shaping and a digital manufacturing platform to transform manufacturing industries. Our solutions drive flexible, sustainable, and high-precision production, revolutionizing how industries like automotive, aerospace, food packaging, and renewable energy operate.

JePPIX is on the lookout for PIC developers that are ready to bring a PIC-enabled product to market. By making use of their software, design, foundry and testing services, you can take your proof-of-concept circuit into production. And guess what? They’re here to help you every step of the way.

MedPhab pilot production line accelerates the commercialisation of diagnostic devices and instruments for treatment based on photonics, and to reduce the R&D cost. Based on  testing the  validation of the pilot production line on three application areas: hospital  environment, home care devices and equipment for chemical diagnostics. Such project needs the cooperation of a consortium of excellent research institutes and companies that have experience in ISO 13485 standardized manufacturing and/or strong expertise in photonics.

HDLN aims to establish high-density thin-film LN technology and demonstrate its viability for ultra-fast optical communications and photonic-electronic signal processing. The project involves experienced partners from academia and industry, including a manufacturing start-up, a photonic design and test house, and a leading communications company.
