Professor of silicon photonics at the University of Southampton’s Optoelectronics Research Centre, leading the Integrated Photonics Group; his research spans silicon photonics integration and compound semiconductors.

Cor Schepens has a long track record in semiconductor-related startups and dived into photonics a year ago. He recently founded PhotonPoser to enable cost-efficient high-volume photonic systems with its patented photonic interposer technology.

Dr. Amol's expertise lies in the development of novel optical systems for datacom, AI, and 5G/6G wireless communication applications. He received a PhD in photonics for mm-wave/sub-THz wireless systems from Dublin City University and has more than 6 years of research experience.

Mehdi Naamoun, Ph.D. in Materials Physics, former Senior Researcher at EPFL (Federal Polytechnic School of Lausanne), has been immersed in the field of CVD diamond since 2009. From his diverse experiences and thanks to his extensive network, Dr. Naamoun has acquired in-depth expertise in diamond industrialization for various fields ranging from power electronics to photonics and quantum. Today, as CTO of PROUD, he leads the company's entire technology development and industrial roadmap towards the integration of PROUD's diamond technology within the semiconductor industry.
