EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Laser – Driven Fusion
Online Event
Free Event

The transition from scientific demonstration to commercial deployment of fusion energy is accelerating, with laser-driven fusion emerging as one of the most promising pathways toward clean, secure, and scalable power generation. Milestones such as the achievement of fusion ignition at the National Ignition Facility have demonstrated that laser-based inertial confinement fusion can produce more fusion energy than the energy delivered to the fuel target, representing a major scientific breakthrough. At the same time, a growing ecosystem of companies and research institutions is investing in high-power laser technologies and fusion power plant concepts, to bridge the gap between laboratory demonstrations and future commercial fusion energy systems.

This EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Laser-Driven Fusion will bring together key players from the photonics and fusion ecosystems to discuss the latest technological developments, industrial challenges, and opportunities for collaboration. Topics will include high-power laser systems, optical components, diagnostics, infrastructure… required to enable next-generation fusion facilities. The meeting will provide a platform to exchange insights and identify business opportunities within this rapidly evolving field. Join us to explore how photonics technologies are shaping the future of fusion energy.

This event is free of charge.
