EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Photonics for Disaster Response and Environment Resilience

Photonics technologies play an increasingly important role in monitoring natural hazards, supporting emergency response, and improving environmental resilience. This meeting will showcase optical sensing, imaging, LiDAR, satellite-based monitoring, fiber optic sensing, and drone-based photonic solutions for applications such as wildfire detection, flood monitoring, infrastructure surveillance, and pollution assessment. Technology developers will meet with public authorities, infrastructure operators, environmental agencies, and system integrators to discuss emerging needs and collaborative opportunities.
