Kimon Moratis is a market intelligence analyst in TEMATYS, specializing in lasers, materials and quantum technologies. He supervises the drafting of market studies on photonic technologies and their applications and coordinates consulting projects for technology transfer and investments.

Florent Colas (Optronics Technical Referent) has been an engineer in optronics for over 21 years. He began his career at Ifremer, a French research institute, where he spent 14 years as a research engineer developing optronic sensors for marine and submarine applications. During this time, he was involved in several research projects on plasmonic sensors. In 2019, he transitioned to civilian aeronautics, joining Safran Aerosystems as an expert in optronics and project manager. Since 2024, he has been working in defense at Thales Land and Air Systems as a technical referent in optronics technologies within the Technical Directorate of the Optronics and Missile Electronics business line.

Roy McBride is Director of Strategy & Growth at PowerPhotonic, with a focus on strategic opportunities and partnerships in advanced freeform optics for high-power laser systems in defence, space, and fusion energy applications.

Laurynas Tumėnas holds a degree in Material Science and Nanotechnology and is currently completing a master’s degree in Management. Half a decade, he has worked in the laser technology industry, specializing in laser manufacturing processes and their industrial applications.
In addition to his civilian career, Laurynas served in the Lithuanian Armed Forces, where he earned the rank of Reserve Lieutenant with honors. This experience strengthened his sense of responsibility, discipline, and commitment to Lithuania.
Today, he is a member of Aktyvus Photonics, where he combines his scientific and technical background with a strong commitment to strengthening the defense capabilities of Lithuania ant its allied nations.
