This EPIC Technology Meeting on Photonics for Space will explore the latest technological developments, emerging challenges, and scalability opportunities for photonics applications in space and new space environments. Sessions will cover situational awareness and debris removal challenges, photonic integrated circuits (PICs) for space, photonics in harsh conditions, and the role of photonics in earth observation and environmental monitoring. Hosted by the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam (AIP) in Potsdam, Germany, the meeting provides a unique setting for in-depth discussions, bringing together industry leaders, researchers, and end-users with expertise in astrophysics, space instrumentation, and photonics. Participants will gain insights into cutting-edge developments, identify collaborative opportunities, and expand their professional network in the European photonics community.
