EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Commercial Challenges for Photonics as 5G Booms (in cooperation with COBO & EA)
Online Event

In cooperation with

Broadband services at gigabit rates to local destinations, larger areas served at frequencies below 6 GHz, low latency services for local and large datacenters and connections for Internet of Things (IoT) and autonomous vehicles will require new photonic devices able to fulfil the requirements to satisfy social demand for higher data rates. This meeting will focus on the needs of the service providers of 5G technologies for new optical technologies such as free-space optical communications, LIFI, fiber based cellular backhaul and integrated optics for increasing port densities and high-speed optics.

Spirit of the meetings

During these online technology meetings, we are looking for the challenges the industry is facing and bringing together the entire supply chain to address these challenges. Bringing together end-users with component suppliers and system integrators that will answer the EPIC question “What can you do for them and what can they do for you” creates the perfect foundation to establish new business relationships and find ways for new collaborations and partnerships.
