Photonics is definitely a key enabling technology to understand diseases, to get a better diagnosis and to achieve a better therapy. The aim of this meeting is to discuss the current demands, solutions and concepts for medical instrumentation and devices.
René Dornieden studied optical engineering in Kassel and Göttingen. He worked for Coherent during his master studies and joined LISA Laser in 2019. His focus as a R&D Engineer is on optical technologies, application testing and research.
Christian studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Munich before joining McKinsey in 1995. As a consultant, he focused on high tech and healthcare clients. Following an MBA degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and 10 years in consulting, Christian joined GE Healthcare as an Enterprise Manager, taking responsibility for large projects and key accounts in the DACH region. In 2010 he co-founded iThera Medical and has since been its CEO.
