Dominic Schulz is Head of Business Development & Strategy at Fraunhofer HHI, Berlin, with 15 years’ experience in photonics. He holds PhD and MBA degrees, led optical wireless R&D and projects, and now drives strategy for photonic components and systems at HHI.
Patrick Engelmann received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universität Dresden in 2024. He is currently working at Fraunhofer IPMS on the development of advanced analog and mixed-signal IC solutions for microdisplays and sensors.
The PIC Packaging Business Unit – led by Mirvais Yousefi (PhD) – is focused on serving customers with the most challenging PIC Packaging requests, including the huge Electrical and Optical I/O needs of the quantum industry.

Régis Blin is responsible for technical sales and business development in the photonics industry. With over 15 years of professional experience, he provides comprehensive guidance to customers on fiber optic interconnect solutions. He holds a Master’s degree in Photonics from Polytech Paris-Saclay (2004).
